Laurie Dehmlow

Voice Faculty

LAURIE DEHMLOW has been teaching at Laurel School of Music since 1989, when the school was known as St. Joseph’s School of Music. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education for grades K-12, a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, and specialty training in Early Childhood, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and Kodaly Certification Level I. Dehmlow has performed in musical theater and dinner theatre productions, oratorios, chamber operas, and recitals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. At Laurel she teaches Music Discovery, the First Steps program, voice classes for children, and private voice for all ages. In addition to teaching at Laurel, Dehmlow teaches at Steppingstone Theatre, Children's Theatre, Blessed Trinity Catholic School, and Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. In her free time she and her husband enjoy ice dancing, horses, and dogs.
