The Saturday Vibe series at George Latimer Central Library aims to bring family-friendly performances to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The Metamorphosis Duo features violinists Catherine Himmerich and Joe Dolson. Their repertoire spans multiple genres and focuses heavily on music written by under-represented composers.

This one time special event is presented by the Minnesota History Center in their 3M Theatre // Step into an immersive evening of music and memory with {Trés} for the world premiere of Pedacito de Tierra—a bold, genre-defying work blending chamber music, electronics, and oral histories from the Puerto Rican diaspora.

Come celebrate the music-making of Laurel School of Music students of all ages and instruments at the All-School Student Recital! Enjoy their performances, cheer on their hard work, and join the fun in one of three lively recitals at 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, or 3:30 pm.

Kick off the holiday season with December’s FAMILY FRIENDLY Saturday Vibe performance, featuring the Laurel Faculty Brass Quintet! They’ll bring a mix of festive favorites and fun tunes—from a Sound of Music medley and The Nutcracker to the surprisingly catchy Rubber Duckie. Don’t miss this joyful celebration of brass and holiday cheer in the cozy, welcoming Youth Room at the George Latimer Central Library!
