Laurel School of Music is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and student-centered Voice Teacher to join our faculty beginning August 2026. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students of all ages discover and develop their musical potential while contributing to a collaborative and supportive teaching community.
Position Overview
The Voice Teacher will provide high-quality music instruction to students ranging from late elementary school through retired adults. The ideal candidate is an engaging teacher and active musician who enjoys working with a diverse student population and is excited to contribute to the life of our school beyond private lessons.
This is an hourly position, with compensation starting at $41–$50 per hour, depending on education, experience, and the type of teaching assignment. Rates vary for private lessons, group classes, and partnership program instruction.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated music educator to take on an entrepreneurial and leadership role while also having the freedom to develop a teaching studio at Laurel School of Music for additional income.
The ideal candidate is profoundly committed to the Suzuki philosophy and brings both administrative vision and hands-on teaching expertise to the position.
