Lauren Husting

Trombone Faculty

Lauren Husting, trombonist and music educator, has been an active presence in the Minnesota music scene since 2008. She performs regularly with her quartet The Paper Clips, freelances in all genres and venues, and teaches from beginners to adults. She is faculty at St Cloud State and Hamline University as well as Laurel, and maintains her own private studio of dedicated low brass students. Lauren is the first educator in Minnesota to be certified to teach Suzuki Brass Method. She holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of North Texas.
